The vibrating feeder plays the role of a porter throughout the entire production process. If the vibrating feeder experiences blockage or spillage, it can directly lead to the paralysis of the production line. Therefore, ensuring the normal operation of the vibrating feeder is crucial.
In the material storage system, the vibrating feeder often experiences blockage of the material bin due to the following reasons:
1. From the perspective of the physical properties of the material, the main reasons for the blockage of the vibrating feeder are its high stiffness and moisture content. Due to the reduced fluidity of materials, this can lead to the usual "wall hanging" and "shed material" phenomena after the materials enter the warehouse, especially during the rainy season.
2. During the shutdown of the vibrating feeder transportation system corresponding to the silo, due to the prolonged storage time in the silo and the influence of humidity, the friction between the material and the silo wall increased, resulting in blockage.
3. There is too little material stored in the silo. Because the material falls from a height of more than ten meters, the deeper the vibrating feeder bin, the greater the acceleration, and the greater the impact. Therefore, a certain block of material gradually compresses the stored material at the bottom of the bin under the action of gravity; When feeding again, blockage is likely to occur.
4. Structural blockage. At present, the silos of domestic vibrating feeders are made of steel plates, and their shapes are mostly conical, square conical, or hyperbolic with a large upper opening and a small lower opening. The material flows from top to bottom in the warehouse by its own weight, and the lower the flow, the smaller the cross-section, which is also an important reason for blockage.
5. Poor management of material storage points leads to the entry of large pieces of materials or foreign objects into the warehouse. At the entrance of the vibrating feeder's silo, the sieve opening that was not set as required was too large, causing large pieces of material or foreign objects to enter the silo and cause blockage.
6. During use, we should also be careful not to directly press the load of the silo onto the inclined chute of the feeder, as this can cause fatigue damage to the spring plate and connecting fork in the long term, leading to one of them breaking.
7. It may be caused by excessive feeding, resulting in the accumulation of materials in the machine base, increased force of the lifting resistance screw conveyor, and poor operation of the hopper. In this case, the feeding amount should be reduced immediately and the feeding should be kept uniform.
8. If the gap between the iron core and the armature of the feeder is too large or too small, it will affect the feeding of the feeder due to the machine's inability to achieve normal amplitude.
9. It may be caused by the lack of coordination between the various components of the feeder, mainly due to the looseness of some parts. This requires tuning adjustments to the components, adjusting the clamping degree of the machine spring plate to the optimal level, so that the inclined groove reaches the amplitude range specified in production.
The vibrating feeder plays a crucial role in connecting the entire production line. Although it is not an important equipment in the production line, it plays an important role that cannot be ignored.
